Welcome to the all new Newszone Editors' blog. The place where we can post a bit more unofficially about telly stuff.

Its been a bit of a busy day. But all in all yet another good one for Newszone! All our crew seem to be loving the new site, and the fact we've expanded into so many other areas lately.

From that small site in 2002, to what we have now. Its been hard work, but its seemingly worth it from the feedback we've had from most people saying its nice the monopoly one other site has had for too long is now over.

The main thing of course is now all sites are accountable, and major issues can't be swept under the carpet by the other sites anymore.

Speaking of othersites, a bit of a shout out to Soapworld.co.uk, who also share our views that there needs to be more sites like ours - and indeed theirs - out there!

Finally, we seemed to make a bit of a mistake yesterday with some wording, due to one of our sources cocking up some information. But this is where Newszone is different, we'll say "yep, we made a mistake" if we have done - and not just remove all trace that we cocked up!

Anyway basically a tabloid newspaper broke an embargo on pictures. And instead of dear Aunty Beeb frowning and trying to limit the damage, they decided it best to just give the pictures to practically any tom, dick or digital spy going who had a news site.

This ultimately lead to one site mis-using the images and spoiling the plot ending of a recent EastEnders story.

Anyway we misplaced the blame with the tabloid for giving the pictures to sites, it was actually the BBC themselves who were the culprits. Our mole has been put in its hole.. ..for now.
